Just before Christmas we had a wonderful piece of news from Skipton Building Society informing us that we had been chosen as one of the winners of their Grassroots Giving Campaign for 2018.
Each year Skipton Building Society runs a competition right across the UK inviting local groups to submit entries to try to win £500 of funding.
This year we showcased our singing group at The Milton Rooms in Malton and thank you to everyone who voted for us – your votes led to us being shortlisted with a total of 377 projects right across the UK and helped in the final judging round.
